May 2017 Newsletter
Here at the Ladies Lunches we are looking forward to another busy month, with our Brighton & Hove lunch on 9th May and Eastbourne lunch on 26th May, both of which are almost fully booked. We are also looking ahead to next month where we will be hosting the Get Ready For Summer Spa at The Grand Brighton on 7th June.
At time of writing, we currently have 5 places left for the Brighton lunch (having added some more tickets). Be sure to book soon to ensure you get a place!
Elsewhere this month, we are getting excited for Where Cricket Meets Ladies Day at the Sussex CCC County Ground on 23rd May, featuring guest speaker Sally Kettle — the first woman to have rowed across the Atlantic east-west, twice!
Come along for a reception drink, two course lunch and afternoon tea followed by a charity auction. Ladies Lunch Club members get a special £5 discount on individual places. Head over to the County Ground’s website to book places.
We have also just relaunched our online membership directory on our website. For a one-off payment of just £20 (excl. VAT), you will be able to gain lifetime access to a listing which includes your name, the name of your company, a hyperlink to your website and a company description. Head over to our website to view the directory.
As always we hope you can join us for one of our lunches this month! Please see below for a list of all our dates this year at the bottom of the newsletter.
Announcing our Charity Day in Aid of Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice!
As you may be aware we regularly raise funds for one of our favourite charities in Sussex, Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice. This wonderful charity cares for over 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions. Currently it costs Chestnut Tree House well over £3.5m each year to carry out their services. Families are never charged for their care and less than 7p in every pound is funded by the government, so they rely heavily on donations and fund raising to keep going.
To help support this very worthy cause we have organised our next Charity Beauty Event to be held on Sunday 21st May 2017. We will open for treatments from 10am to 4pm and all the money taken on this day will be donated to the hospice. The staff are kindly donating their time so please come along and support. The only rule is that you can only book a treatment that you haven’t had done before in the salon.
So go ahead and book yourself a new treatment and do your bit for a great charity at the same time!
We hope to raise as much as possible on the day so your generosity and support would be greatly appreciated. To find out more pop into the salon or give us a call on 01273 270709.
All About Skin – Skincare Event, Brighton, June 14th 2017
We are also pleased to announce our Skincare Event on Wednesday 14th June between 6pm and 9pm. This is an event where you can discover more about our skin treatments and try out our new skin scanner. Our skin scanner is the latest device to the salon and really shows at a much deeper level what is going on with your skin. We can take photographs of your skin and then use these going forward so you can really see the changes and the results from your salon treatments and homecare plan.
Call us now on 01273 270709 to reserve a ticket for this exclusive event!
