Rather than simply removing the companies with the highest carbon intensity from their portfolios, St. James’s Place believes that engagement is the best way to ensure these firms improve climate-change governance and cut emissions. St. James’s Place is a member of initiatives including the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero and Climate Action 100+, which both seek to support companies in their transition to a low-carbon future.
