Fifteen years ago, on moving to the Tunbridge Wells area, I started attending Lara’s Ladies Lunch Club in Tunbridge Wells, which gave me a wonderful opportunity to meet other local female professionals and business owners.   All those years later and I am proud to still work closely with some of the wonderful women I met there. 

Therefore it is fantastic news that the Ladies Lunch Club is reopening in Tunbridge Wells and I am so pleased to be able to sponsor this in 2021.   Many of you may know me but for those that don’t here is a brief summary of who I am.

As a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the CII (the highest qualifications in my industry) I have been involved in all aspects of wealth management for over 27 years specialising in retirement and investment planning, inheritance tax planning and Care fees advice.  My emphasis is on maintaining a long-term relationship with my clients and providing them with a source of trusted advice as their financial needs evolve over the years.   I also hold the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) accreditation meaning that I specialise in dealing with vulnerable clients. 

Many advisers are male and therefore I receive lots of enquiries from clients and other professionals if they require the ‘female touch’. In recognition of this, I have just won the title of Financial Adviser of the Year 2020 (South East) in the Women in Financial Advice Awards, which was a huge honour.

Outside of St. James’s Place Wealth Management I was previously the President of the West Kent Chamber of Commerce until they sadly closed last year.  Since then I have set up a new business Forum in Tunbridge Wells called enTWine where I enjoy meeting local professionals and individuals and helping each other.

I am passionate about providing peace of mind by using my many years of experience, qualifications and compassion to help families find reassurance and understanding about their finances during their lifetime and onward for future generations.
