Year’s end and hope for 2021

As 2020 comes to a close, it may feel easier to pinpoint the negative that this year has brought than to focus on the positive, but now is a great time to appreciate our health, our friends and family, and our continued business endeavours – we have all made it through an incredibly tough year and should be proud of our ability to cope with all that has been thrown at us. We know we are!

Year’s end is also the time to think about the new year to come and what we hope 2021 will bring, both in our personal and our working lives. The close of an old year and the beginning of a new one is a natural time to start looking to the future. After the challenges 2020 has presented, it is more important than ever to be getting one’s legal affairs in order. We have been working hard to build our new wills and probate department and are offering 20% off all wills and powers of attorney until the end of February 2021.

We have also spent time reflecting on how our team has rallied together throughout this turbulent year and our gratitude for one another’s support. As a group of women in business, all of us who attend the Ladies Lunch Clubs know the importance of feeling valued in the workplace. With the economic uncertainty, we face finding alternative ways to reward employees and show our appreciation can be a challenge. We are now working with employers to provide will and power of attorney drafting services as an employee benefit – this is a fantastic way to give a little back to those who have worked hard throughout the year and who will, no doubt, continue to put their all into your businesses during 2021.

Whilst we reflect on all we have achieved during 2020, we would like to thank the Ladies Lunch Clubs for bringing such a magnificent group of women together each month and we hope that you all have a wonderful (and well-deserved) break over the festive period! We are certainly excited to be able to spend time with family in as normal a setting as possible, sipping mulled wine and playing board games.
